Review: Waypoint
Waypoint is a restaurant in Cambridge, MA that offers up inspired seafood items for Sunday brunch that left us wanting to come back and try the full dinner menu as soon as possible. Upon arrival the host is flanked by an array of oysters going for as low as a buck a-piece for $1 oyster Sunday. Waypoint’s décor evokes feelings of a modern, industrial, seafood joint. The neon green salvaged signs coupled with the clean marble tabletops and reclaimed wood create a sleek interior to relax in while focusing on the true focal point of the cuisine.
Waypoint offers brunch only on Sundays, but it is the perfect opportunity for the whole family to enjoy Chef Michael Scelfo’s expertly crafted dishes. A full raw bar and specially selected dishes are included for brunch as well as additional drink options to satisfy everyone.

Food options range from Whitefish Pizza to King Crab to Bucatini Carbonara and everything in between. And the drinks are as delicious as the food. Unlike many places, Waypoint offers a few mocktails that are a delicious combination of flavors. Ask for a table near the front of the restaurant to be flooded with beautiful natural light streaming through the storefront windows allowing you to enjoy the warm and beautiful sunny days ahead.
For a taste of fine cuisine put Waypoint on your map and I’m sure you will not be disappointed by the truly unique Brunch experience whether you are with that special someone or bringing the whole family.
