Tell us a little bit about yourself.
I grew up outside of Boston, and love the seasons in New England. I have three young children and my whole family enjoys traveling with our cameras to explore new places. We spend a lot of time in Vermont where we have seen the Milkyway and the Northern Lights. My passion for photography has brought me to look at the world in a whole new way. I am proud to say that because of this community, I have learned more about weather, moon phases, star activity and also technology of DSLRS and Adobe products than I ever thought possible. I shoot with a Nikon D5500, have a couple of different lens, VU filter kit and use lightroom and photoshop.
When did you realize your passion for photography?
During the epic winter of 2015 in Boston, seeing all the snow day photos inspired me to get more creative.
What is your advice to aspiring photographers on Instagram?
Learn from others, but also develop your own unique style. Make sure to engage with other accounts you like! You will get noticed. Don’t ever change your unique style and take photos of things you like. Use YouTube tutorials to help you learn.
Anything else you’d like to share?
I love watching this community grow and look forward to seeing people’s photos improve over time.
