Tell us a little bit about yourself.
I’m a marketing guy. I work in advertising downtown and in my free time I’m a skier and a golfer. Living in the city is the best – there’s no place like Boston.
When did you realize your passion for photography?
I’ve always liked photos – but photos of people and my friends/family. Not landscapes. That changed a few years back when I started running more after work. I’d get winded and stopping to take a photo of the sunset over the skyline was the perfect breather. Instagram had just come along and was a great place to showcase photography and tell a story.
What is your advice to aspiring photographers on Instagram?
Walk everywhere. I do a ton of walking, particularly at the beginning and end of the day when the light is the best. You’ll notice all sorts of great things along the way, particularly with how distinct Boston’s neighborhoods are.
